MEFSEC 2011 (Middle East & Africa Fire, Safety & Security Exhibition)

MEFSEC is the leading safety and security exhibition in the Middle East, it is held consistently every year usually by the last quarter of the year, it was held this year from December 10th till December 13th alongside with ELECTRICX Exhibition at the Cairo International Convention Center in Egypt The exhibition featured hundreds of exhibitors, presenting wide range of Firefighting, Safety & Security products which succeeded in attracting more than 18 thousand visitors from 46 countries.

OH&ES team found it a unique opportunity to enhance 3M safety products exposure, Yehia Abdeen (OH&ES main distributor) has participated in collaboration with 3M in the exhibition, with wide range of 3M Hearing, Head, Eye, Face, Respiratory and welding protection products. OH&ES team has also found it an ideal place to introduce new products to the market such as 3M coveralls, fall protection, sorbents (Spill Kits), new helmets (H-700 & G3000), Earmuffs (1426 & 1436) and respirators (3000 series), which have strengthened the presence of 3M in the occupational health and safety protection market being up to the required specifications and standards.

The booth has hosted thousands of visitors and was the center of the fair, giving a chance to industry leaders, distributors and customers to get together, demonstrate and try the products in real as well as discuss further future projects, the exhibition has witness a great success especially with the current situation of the market and is expected to grow more in the coming year as safety awareness and investment continue to expand in the Middle East and Africa.

In 2011, the event hosted 18,913 visitors from 46 countries with a growth expectation for 2012 as safety awareness and investment continues to expand in the Middle East and Africa.
